Gadget watch - Some like it hot…

Are you sitting at your desk reading this with a sad, cold cup of tea, coffee or trendy hippy concoction at your side? Does it make you angry when you make yourself a brew, only to be called into an impromptu meeting and when you return, you’re left with a lukewarm offering? Well, I’ve found something that could help.

This handy little gadget sits obediently at your side to ensure your drinks stay hot. Just plug the mug warmer into your computer with the USB cable, go away and make your drink in the kettle, as normal but then pour it into the cup that comes with the contraption.

Place aforementioned cup onto your pre-warmed cup warmer and you’re good to go! Bring on the meetings and chats with colleagues you’d rather not interrupt your tea-break with because your drink will stay lovely
and hot for 60 minutes!

Wouldn’t it be great if there was one thing that kept hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold? Wouldn’t it be even better if this magical contraption didn’t need any energy to work and you didn’t have to be at your computer? Totally portable, energy efficient and … existed since the Thermos flask was invented decades ago!

There’s always one, isn’t there? I think that if you attempted to fill up a thermos flask during the tea run, you wouldn’t be the most popular guy in the office. I’m all for being energy efficient and I do love the trusty thermos but at the end of the day, it’s just not as fun, is it?
